With the rapid development of power electronics technology,more and more high-power electrical equipment has being applied to the power grid,Which leads to the more serious harmonic pollution and reactive power imbalance in the grid.Also,it leads to the deterioration of transmission power quality,and interfering with the operation of industrial equipment and residential electricity.Therefore,it is more and more important to suppress harmonic pollution and balance reactive power.Active power filter as an active and real-time harmonic suppression and reactive power balance electrical equipment,has gradually become one of the important means of regulating power quality.And several key technical links of active power filter are still the focus of current research.This paper aims to design an active power filter with good performance,and the main work is as follows:1.This paper first introduces the research status of harmonic suppression and reactive power compensation at home and abroad,and then discusses and researches on active power filters.The development history,working principle,main classification and topology of active power filter are described,and comparative analysis was also made.2.Deeply studied two key technologies of APF--harmonic current detection and current tracking control.Several typical methods are analyzed and compared,and then the design of the control part based on dq and SVPWM hysteresis control method is completed.3.The main circuit of active power filter is analyzed and studied.By designing the topology of the main circuit,designing and selecting the parameters of important components,designing the dc side voltage control link and the soft start link,the design of the main circuit of APF is completed.4.Established the simulation model of the designed APF,built APF simulation experiment platform based on MATLAB,conducted simulation experiments on the designed APF.and verified the rationality of the design.To sum up,the three-phase shunt active power filter designed in this paper has a good filtering compensation effect,and the research and design method adopted has a certain universality to the design of similar products.
