In recent years,with the increase in offshore operations,there are various types of sudden maritime distress incidents that had been occurred frequently.In the case of sudden distress events,especially in some of the deep sea areas far away from the offshore,the existing maritime emergency communication just has a single communication network and has limited transmission broadband,lacking of mobility flexibility,and limitations of use.The using maritime emergency communication means cannot guarantee the smooth video conferencing and emergency command in the process of large-scale and high-frequency movement,and cannot meet the higher requirements of remote,real-time emergency response and on-site command,anytime,anywhere,and so on.Failure to do such efficiently will result in significant economic losses and even more lives cannot be rescued.Meanwhile,in the era of building a maritime power,it is necessary to provide high-efficiency communication guarantees when conducting scientific research experiments at sea,and provide real-time communication between the test operation site and the rear research center.The maritime emergency communication designed in this paper is mainly composed of two parts:the satellite ground center station and the ship terminal station.By studying the LTE(Long Term Evolution)technology applied to maritime communication,according to the characteristics and actual needs of mobile satellite communication.The USV(Unmanned Surface Vehicles)is the carrier and combines which two communication networks design a maritime emergency communication system with flexible deployment network,which helps to improve the coverage and communication efficiency of the entire maritime emergency communication network.The main work of the first part of this paper is to build the entire maritime emergency communication system model by using NS-3(Network Simulator Version 3)network simulation software,and we configure different simulation scenarios,such as different packet sending intervals,long distance between the terminal and the base station,number of terminal devices.In this paper,we have evaluated the performance of the networks constructed with these simulation scenarios.The second part of the body selects the appropriate equipment to build the maritime emergency communication system by combining the actual situation,and verify the feasibility and reliability of the whole system through field test.Provide a foundation for building 4G network or 5G network for the maritime emergency communication system.
