Research On The Structural Evolution Of Chinese Automobile Standard Citation Network

The automobile industry is one of the pillar industries of China's national economy.Although China is already a major automobile manufacturing country in the world,it still has a certain gap with the automobile manufacturing power.Automobile standardization is an important guarantee for the healthy development of the Chinese automobile industry.The production mode of the automobile industry is mainly the modular design and production.The standardization activities are conducive to the improvement of the design and production level of the automobile industry,reducing the production cost of the automobile industry,promoting the scaled production and structural upgrading of the automobile industry,and improving the technical level of the Chinese automobile industry.International Competitiveness.Automobile standards are important carriers of automotive knowledge exchange.They help regulate the development of the automotive industry.The relationship among automotive standards reflect the links among automotive standards.The development of Chinese automobile standards began in the 1950s,and the number of automobile standards is vey small before the 1980s,due to the rapid development of Chinese automobile industry,China has gradually established a set of automobile standards that basically meet the needs of economic and social development,the standardization of Chinese automobile industry has made substaintial progress.There is more relationship among current automotive standards,the citations among automotive standards form a network.Analyzing the dynamic evolution of the structure of automotive citation networks and the knowledge associations among automotive standards,finding core automotive standards,summarizing automotive standards cite the overall trend of change in the network,indentifying the drafting and structural problems in Chinese automobile standards.This paper applies the social network analysis method to the structural evolution study of the automotive standard citation network,and analyzes the changing trend of the automotive citation network from the node structure,local structure,and overall structure.Through research,it is found the proportion of isolated nodes in the Chines Automobile standard reference network is up to 50%with a decreasing trend.The sets of central nodes of the automobile reference network in different stages are quiet differently.The standards drafted by some institutions have significant influence and control in the automobile citation network.The number of small and medium-sized communities also increases in the citation network standard.However the largest components over different stages exhibites a growing share of automotive standards with small frations in each clique.We found that the overall density Chines automobile standard citation network overall density is very low,implying thatsuch a network is very sparse.The evolution of density displays a U-shaped curve and the centralization of Chinese automobile standard citation network is verylow.The centralization of of indegree is higher than that of outdegree.The clustering coefficients of Chinese automobile standard reference network are not high,showing an upward trend over time.Based on the analysis of structural evolution of automobile standard citation network,this paper finds that there are many problems such as excessive isolated standards,low overall network density,too many small groups,and substaintial distincts in terms of the participation role of the drafting institutions in the evolution of automobile standard citation network.Finally,some suggestions are proposed including the integration of isolated standard nodes into the network,paying attention to the connection among standards and the change of core automobile standards,and strengthening the cooperation among drafting units so as to provide guidance to the formulation of Chinese automobile standards.
