With the development of social economy and the improvement of people's living standard,people pay more and more attention to the pursuit of individuation and diversification of products.In order to respond to market changes quickly and meet the personalized needs of customers,more and more enterprises have adopted mixed model assembly lines of multi models and small batch.Compared with the traditional model of large batch production of single variety,multi models and small batch of mixed model assembly lines are more complex.In order to survive in the fierce,the enterprise not only needs to competition and improve the quality of the product,but also continuously optimize its own complex production system to reduce the production cost and enhance the core competitiveness.This paper,taking a production line of door of refrigerator as the research object,studies the optimization of the manufacturing resource allocation optimization of the production line,mainly optimizing the number of workers and the number of foaming equipment.The refrigerator door body production line belongs to the atypical mixed flow production line,which is more complex than the typical mixed model assembly lines.This asssembly line mainly composed of the pre-assembly line of door,the door foaming line and the door assembly line,which is equivalent to three independent mixed model assembly lines.The door bodys are first assembled by the pre-assembly line.Then they will enter the foaming line for foaming.Finally,they will arrive at the assembly line for final assembly.Therefore,during the production,three production lines must achieve synchronization for different type of products,once the type of products does not match,it will cause a high WIP(Work-in-Process)and machine halt and so on.Moreover,the production line is Make-To-Order,which will appeare temporary or urgent orders occasionally.So there are many uncertainties.Considering the complexity and uncertainty of the production line,a method based on metamodel simulation is proposed in this paper to optimize the number of operators and foaming equipments in the production line of door of refrigerator.Under the premise of ensuring the production capacity,cut the production cost by reducing the WIP and minimizing the resource allocation.First of all,we introduce the basic concept of metamodel simulation.The traditional simulation is used to simulate complex and large scale systems which takes a lot of time to conduct for its large workload.However,the metamodel,called the model of model,can find a fit between the precision and the efficiency of simulation model,so that it can greatly reduces the workload and improves the efficiency of the simulation,but still maintain the accuracy of the accurate simulation model.Secondly,we describe the current production status of the refrigerator door production line,the Littell rule is proposed to evaluate the performance of the production line.Three performance evaluation indicators,which are the best production state,the theoretical worst production state and the actual worst production state,are used to evaluate the production line.Thirdly,this paper takes the number of personnel in pre-installed lines,foaming line and the assembly line and the number of foaming equipment as the optimization object,that is,the decision variables,the WIP as the target variable.The 2~k factorial design is used to carry out the experimental design,and the data is collected and analyzed by software plant simulation.Base on the data,the meta model of simulation is established.Taking the meta model as the objective function and introducing the constraint conditions of the production line,the decision making model is established,and the best plan of resource allocation of the refrigerator door production line can be obtained by solving the model.Finally,taking the door production line of the refrigerator company as a example,we optimize the resource allocation of the production line based on metamodel simulation method.The final result shows that the optimized resource allocation scheme can effectively reduce the working inventory and reduce the production cost of the production line under the premise of guaranteeing the production capacity of the refrigerator door.
