The Current Situation Of Cave Settlement In The West Of Henan And Research On The Transformation And Utilization

The western Henan is located in the transitional zone between the second steps and third steps of the terrain in China,and is rich in loess landform.Depending on the specific natural environment,the local residents thrive on this land,and have produced the certain cave dwelling houses with special customs and characteristics and a large number of cave settlements.With the progress of society and rapid development,the cave dwelling in western Henan has also undergone tremendous changes under the influence of the urbanization process.The local residents have gradually left the cave which their own generations have lived in,or moved into the city,or set up the new house in the form of the city beside the original settlement.To this end,a large number of original cave dwelling have appeared different degrees of empty-disusing,and the villages gradually have lost the vitality.In the face of the empty waste phenomenon in the kiln building and the massive outflow of the population,which has led to the severe dilemma faced by the development of the village,the choice we face is no longer to inherit the traditional culture and return to the traditional value,but the current situation and the long-term problem of how to develop in the future.Through a large number of field investigations of different cave settlements in western Henan,the paper analyzes the actual situation of cave settlement in the west of Henan Province from five aspects of industrial structure,settlement population and family structure,settlement pattern,infrastructure,housing construction and so on,and summarizes the general development of cave settlements in western Henan.Through the in-depth investigation of Mogou village and evaluation of its current development status,combined with local economy,industry,population,family structure and the corresponding traditional culture,we can put forward the model of the sustainable development of Mogou village and the strategy of overall transformation,and the reform Mogou Village on the basis of the before reform.The aim is to enable the village to be fully activated through the transformation of the village.Through the full activation of the old village,the village can promote the comprehensive development of the new village and form the interactive development between the old village and the old village,so as to make it possible for a benign development.Finally,we hope that the renovation of Mogou village can be used as reference for other cave dwelling settlements in western Henan.
