The research on gear is generally carried out from the aspects of reliability,fatigue strength and life span,and the lubrication of gears becomes more and more important in mechanical transmission,in recent years,there are more and more researches on gear lubrication.A pair of teeth in contact,due to the extrusion of load,tooth surface will produce elastic deformation,lubricating oil in the mesh will be squeezed,form the oil film will produce deformation,this is an overview of elastohydrodynamic lubrication theory.The establishment of the elastohydrodynamic lubrication theory is of great significance to study the lubrication behavior of the contact body,between the main body contact elastohydrodynamic lubrication oil film thickness and oil film pressure and oil temperature change and by Hertz contact theory,determine the solving area,combining with elastohydrodynamic lubrication equation,using multigrid iteration solution,through the oil film pressure and oil film thickness distribution,analysis of the change of different location,and then to check.Oil film damping research is on the dynamics system and the combination of elastohydrodynamic lubrication system,using the result of the elastohydrodynamic lubrication equation,through the establishment of dynamic model to solve the oil film damping formula,the numerical solution of elastohydrodynamic lubrication into,get the size of the oil film damping in each meshing position and in a meshing cycle times mesh along the direction of change.1.The gear micro elastohydrodynamic lubrication model,simultaneous include Reynolds equation,the density of coarse film thickness equation,viscosity equation,equation and load equation,solving smooth tooth surface isothermal elastohydrodynamic lubrication solution,the oil film pressure and oil film thickness distribution,and the change of parameters of oil film thickness and the influence of oil film pressure are analyzed in comparison.2.Use of tribology knowledge,separate temperature and roughness are studied,include Reynolds equation,rough film thickness equation,the density of viscosity equation,equation and load equation,energy equation and solid heat conduction equations of composite gear pair transient micro thermal elastohydrodynamic lubrication model,the equations of the solution,to solve the tooth surface thermal elastohydrodynamic lubrication and smooth rough numerical solution of tooth surface isothermal elastohydrodynamic lubrication,draw a line contact of gear oil film thickness distribution,pressure distribution,temperature field distribution.The influence of numerical results is analyzed by changing the parameters of roughness amplitude,speed,input power,modulus and pressure Angle.3.Based on the change of oil film thickness and viscosity,the model of dynamic and elastomatic lubrication was established,and the solution method of oil film damping was deduced,and the influence of parameter variation on the oil film damping was discussed.
