In the field of heavy commercial vehicles in China,the traditional 7,8 and 9 gear transmission cannot meet the current development needs,multi gear has become the development trend of heavy commercial vehicles.At the same time,for heavy commercial vehicles,the operating environment is relatively bad,the traditional manual transmission is tedious,the machine and synchronizer wear greatly and easy to flameout.In order to solve the above problems,improve the ride comfort of the car and the shift quality,this paper is based on the 12JS180 TA transmission of Fast,and uses the EPS shift idea to develop a EPS transmission control system for 12 gear heavy commercial vehicles with high cost performance.This paper first introduces the classification and the status of the development of the transmission at home and abroad,describes the principle of EPS shift and vehicle safety auxiliary system.Secondly,introducing the shift principle of the 12 gear transmission,the working principle of synchronizer and pneumatic shift gear actuators.Finally,putting forward the overall scheme design of this system.First,the mechanical design of shift assembly of the 12 gear EPS transmission control system is carried out.Secondly,the hardware system of the transmission ECU and the handle control system ECU is modularized design,which are communicated by CAN bus between them.The handle control system ECU is mainly used for the acquisition of the handle signal,and the transmission ECU is responsible for the realization of the shift operation,the acquisition of the related signals,the fault detection of the solenoid valve and so on.Then,analysis the factors that affect the shift quality and providing the optimal control method.On the software,this paper focuses on the control and feedback of the shift,the optimization of the shift quality,the fault detection of the solenoid valve and data acquisition and pretreatment for vehicle running state.Finally,the feasibility of the system is verified by building the experimental platform to carrying out the theoretical experiment and field vehicle experiment.Through the study of the EPS transmission control system for the 12 gear heavy commercial vehicle,this paper proves that the shift assembly and electronic control system has practical feasibility.In addition,this system can provide the data base for big data analysis for the transport fleet of the vehicle safety assistance system and can realize the management and analysis of vehicle operation data by Bluetooth.Compared with the manual heavy commercial vehicle,the shift process of heavy commercial vehicles with this system is simplified,the shift operation is more fluent.At the same time,through the experimental analysis for the factors affecting the shift quality,the ride comfort and comfort of the vehicle and the shift quality are improved.
