Under the background of the development of building industrialization and the transformation and upgrading of the traditional civil construction industry, the assembly architecture with the characteristics of green energy saving, high quality and high efficiency has been paid more and more attention.Modular architecture is a new and promising assembly building. In this paper,a new modular building is studied. After the improvement of structural design,a kind of open module unit with bolt and tenon connection is formed.Through the finite element analysis, the characteristics and performance of the structure are studied and the advantages and limitations of the modular architecture design are analyzed. The main contents are as follows:(1)The establishment of a computational analysis model. The basic contents and requirements of the prefabricated modular architecture design are expounded. From the three aspects of the whole structure, the connection of the nodes and the design of the module unit, the concrete improvement method of the new modular structure is summarized and analyzed in view of the design difficulties in the structure design, and then according to the new module unit. The structural design method establishes the mechanical analysis model of 6 span(span 3.9m),lateral 3 span(span 4.2m)and 3 layer(layer height 3.3m).The basic size is selected and the internal force of 8 degrees is calculated by PKPM.The shear weight ratio, the maximum interlayer displacement angle and the stability checking calculation are all satisfied.(2)Finite element analysis of frame based on ABAQUSThe basic contents and requirements of the prefabricated modular architecture design are expounded. From the three aspects of the whole structure, the connection of the nodes and the design of the module unit, the concrete improvement method of the new modular structure is summarized and analyzed in view of the design difficulties in the structure design, and then according to the new module unit. The structure design method establishes the mechanical analysis model of 6 span(span 3.9m),side 3 span(span 4.2m),3 layer(layer height 3.3m),selects the basic size, and establishes model analysis and verification through PKPM to meet the requirement of 8 degree earthquake.(3)Finite element analysis of frame based on ABAQUSThe basic node model of joint bolt connection and "four column and double beam" is established by ABAQUS.The "four columns and four beams" and two contrast models with welding connection are set up,and the pseudo static analysis of nodes under low cycle reciprocating load is carried out.The stress characteristics of the whole and each component, the variation law of stress distribution and the seismic performance of the nodes are studied, and the seismic performance error is found to be within 10%,but the equivalent viscous damping coefficient can reach more than 0.4.The main influencing factors of the difference are the column deformation, and the evaluation of the node connection is the main factor. The rationality of the design and the problems that should be noticed in the design.(4)The structure analysis of the module unit is carried out.A basic module unit is selected, its structure design method is analyzed, and the finite element model is established to analyze the force analysis of the module unit, and the force characteristics of the module unit are studied. At the same time, the related dimensions of the module unit are analyzed with the characteristics of the construction transportation requirements and the structure design, and the module unit should not be more than 21 t and so on.It also gives a brief introduction to some minor accessory structures that need to be arranged in the process of hoisting and personnel construction.
