Activated carbon has become a high-quality adsorption material due to its good pore structure and acid,alkali and heat stability.These advantages make activated carbon widely used in the fields of food processing,medicine and health,environmental protection and chemical industry.For a long time,coal-based activated carbon has dominated the adsorbent.However,the cost of coal-based activated carbon is high and it is easy to cause secondary pollution.With the development of industry,global energy and environmental problems have become increasingly prominent,making the demand for activated carbon more and more.Biomass activated carbon has attracted wide attention from domestic and foreign researchers due to its advantages such as low price and easy regeneration.China is a major producer of liquor.The resulting lees residues are large and prone to spoilage.We need to develop and utilize lees to prevent waste and pollution.In this paper,the by-product liquor lees produced in the liquor brewing process is used as the raw material.By studying the reaction mechanism and activation conditions of the lees during the carbonization process,the finished activated carbon material is prepared to realize the high value utilization of the lees.Environmental protection is of great practical significance.This paper uses carbonization-KOH activation process to prepare lees activated carbon,analyzes the advantages of preparing activated carbon from white lees,studies the effects of carbonization temperature,activation temperature,activation time,alkali-carbon ratio and other parameters on the specific surface area and pore structure of materials,and explores the effects The pore-forming mechanism determines the preparation conditions of activated carbon with better specific surface area.The kinetic analysis of the pyrolysis process of distillers grains shows that the distillers grains is a kind of raw material suitable for the preparation of activated carbon.Its activation energy E is 45.26 KJ / mol and the pre-finger factor A is 1.79 × 105 min-1.Under the conditions of this experiment,450 ? is the best carbonization temperature of lees.XRD and SEM tests were carried out on the raw materials,carbonized materials and activated carbon samples,respectively.The results showed that during the carbonization-activation process,the lees grains with sheet structure gradually changed into activated carbon materials with welldeveloped pore structure.Among them,the alkali-carbon ratio has the largest contribution to the porous structure,the effect of activation temperature is the smallest,and the effect of activation time is between the alkali-carbon ratio and the activation time.The prepared activated carbon samples were characterized by N2 adsorption,and the optimal process parameters under this experimental condition were determined as the mass ratio of KOH to carbonized material was 1:1,the activation temperature was 800 ?,and the activation time was 120 min.The activated carbon produced under this condition has a developed pore structure with a specific surface area and pore volume of 1379m2/g and 0.83cm3/g.
