Objective:With the acceleration of human industrialization, the current status of air pollution is becoming more and more serious, and the health hazards to the population are also increasingly concerned by researchers.A typical industrial park in the west was taken as an example in this study.A database of population exposure parameters for different land-use types was constructed by establishing air pollution health risk zone identification technology.Differences in population exposure under different land-use types were explored to provide a realistic basis for air pollution prevention and environmental planning. The impact of typical inhalable particles pollution in Kuche County on the health of the population and the economic losses caused by it was evaluated. This will provide a reference basis for the environmental plan of regional air pollution control, and provide some theoretical basis for environmental pollution forecasting, emission policy evaluation, and population health warning. Methods:A typical industrial park in the west was used as an example. The atmospheric diffusion model was used to predict the spatial distribution of pollutants and assess the level of atmospheric pollution.Local land-use types and population exposure patterns were investigated. After the land in the evaluation area was gridded, databases of population exposure parameters for different land-use types were constructed. The crowd was divided according to different land parcels. The spatial distribution of atmospheric pollutants and the corresponding exposed population were connected by a bridge of land, and then the population exposure of different land-use types and the population's exposure risk of pollutants were evaluated. In order to determine the health risk areas of different pollutants, the emission prediction and land-use scenario exposure parameters were introduced into spatial geographic parameters to establish the health risk area and area exposure identification technology of atmospheric pollutants.Disciplinary theoretical methods such as environmental toxicology, environmental economics, epidemiological investigation, and sustainable development theory were applied. When the improved human capital method, disease cost method and other evaluation methods were used,Kuche County was used as an example to discuss the application in the evaluation of population health and economic loss caused by atmospheric particulate pollution.Results:?1?The database of population exposure parameters for different land-use types was constructed. The land-use types and population exposure patterns of the park were investigated. The main exposed population was farmers who accounted for 44.42%.According to the principle of setting the maximum agricultural activity time and scenario risk in the park, the average daily farming time is 5 hours, which is one of the key parameters of the database of population exposure parameters in the evaluation area.?2?The identification technology of air pollution health risk area is established.Based on the land-use scenario exposure model, the population health risk areas of different pollutants were identified. It was found SO2,NOX,TSP,NMHC health risk areas and pollutant spatial distribution areas were found to have statistical difference?p<0.05?.In different land-use models, the population exposure of residential and office land were greater than that of agricultural land.?3?The health and economic loss of inhalable particles PM10 was evaluated. The characteristics of each pollutant and its impact on health were comprehensively analyzed. To evaluate the health effects of air pollution by the health economic loss model,PM10 was used as a representative pollutant. The national secondary air quality standard was regarded as the reference concentration. The health economic loss caused by PM10 pollution to the evaluation area was 89.897 million yuan, accounting for 9.32%of Xinjiang's GDP in 2017.For the end points of different health effects of the population, the health economic loss caused by all deaths was the largest, accounting for 77.55%of the total loss. The second was cardiovascular disease, which accounted for 11.54%of the total loss. The loss caused by chronic obstructive pulmonary disease was relatively minor.Conclusions:?1?There were large differences in the pollution degree and population characteristics of people of different land-use types. When air pollution needs to be controlled, the health benefit assessments brought by different exposed groups are will be different, and should be fully considered in the regional air quality management and cooperation process.?2?The population exposure because of the type of land-use in the assessment area varies. After the introduction of the land-use scenario exposure analysis, the actual health risk areas of atmospheric pollutants SO2,NOX,TSP,NMHC and monitoring points are quite different?p<0.05?.?3?At present, the population health hazards and economic losses caused by PM10 in Kuche County accounted for a large proportion in the local economic development. The control of inhalable particulate emissions should be included in the prevention and control of atmospheric pollutants and the focus of environmental planning.
