Carbon black is one of the main raw materials for the rubber industry.It is produced by thermal cracking of fossil raw materials such as coal tar and ethylene oil.The production process not only consumes a large amount of non-renewable resources,but also causes pollution.In recent years,there has been more and more research on pyrolysis of biomass,and the application of biomass carbon has become more and more extensive.Bamboo as a biomass resource has the advantages of fast growth and regenerability.In this study,bamboo charcoal black was prepared by pyrolysis,its basic properties and reinforcing effect on styrene-butadiene rubber were investigated.The use of renewable resources to produce high value-added carbon black is of great significance for environmental protection,efficient use of resources and advancement of the green economy.In this study,it was found by thermal weight loss analysis that bamboo pyrolysis can be divided into four stages,namely drying stage,preheating stage,main pyrolysis stage and carbonization stage.As the heating rate increases,the initial pyrolysis temperature,peak temperature and pyrolysis end temperature in the main pyrolysis stage move toward the high temperature region.The increase of heating rate has little effect on the weight loss rate of bamboo pyrolysis process,and the weight loss rate in the main pyrolysis stage is as high as 60%.The activation energies of the pyrolysis process were calculated by FWO method and Kissinger method to be 55.14kJ/mol and 48.39kJ/mol,respectively.By investigating the effects of different pyrolysis temperatures on the performance of bamboo charcoal black,it was found that with the increase of pyrolysis temperature,the carbon content increased,the hydrogen and oxygen contents decreased,the C/H increased,the oil absorption value decreased,and the iodine absorption value increased.The specific surface area is increasing,and the specific surface area increases most obviously in the 340 ? ~ 380 ? phase.The infrared spectrum shows that the pyrolysis temperature increases,the absorption intensity of functional groups such as C-H and C=C increases,the carbonyl absorption peak decreases,and the hydroxyl absorption peak disappears.The SEM image shows that the bamboo material has a tubular fiber after grinding,and the bamboo charcoal is irregularly granulated after grinding,and the particle size is different.In this paper,the reinforcing effect of bamboo charcoal black on styrene-butadiene rubber was investigated.It was found that bamboo pyrotechnics with different pyrolysis temperature had lower reinforcing effect on rubber than industrial carbon black N330.The pyrolysis temperature increases,the tensile strength of bamboo charcoal black rubber increases,the elongation at break decreases,and the hardness increases.The bamboo charcoal black having a pyrolysis temperature of 420 ? has best reinforcing effect on the rubber.On this basis,420 ? bamboo charcoal black and industrial carbon black N330 were mixed at different ratios to investigate the reinforcing effect on styrene-butadiene rubber.It was found that different proportions of mixed carbon black had the same effect on curing time.When the ratio of bamboo charcoal black to N330 is 50:50,the reinforcing effect is best.Found through heat aging tests,the rate of change of tensile strength and elongation at break of bamboo charcoal black rubber is-9% and-20%,respectively;the rate of change in tensile strength and elongation at break of mixed carbon black rubber is-24% and-53%,respectively.It shows that bamboo charcoal has good heat resistance.
