The research on metal nanoparticles has made great progress in the past three decades,but common preparation methods can't produce particles with good quality and high yield.In this paper,metal nanoparticles with small size and high yield were prepared by using macro-preparation technology industrial preparation.Traditional lubricating oil antiwear agents are extremely limited due to their defects in structure and composition and can't meet increasingly harsh application environments.And traditional antiwear agents have environmentally unfriendly elements,such as Cl,S and P.In this paper,nano copper particles are used as lubricant antiwear agent.Nano copper are face-centered soft metals with low shear forces in the sliding direction,so copper particles have good lubricating properties.Nano copper have the characteristics of low phase transition temperature,good ductility,and strong corrosion resistance,which make them have advantages that are incomparable with traditional lubricating oil additives.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:?1?Nano copper lubricating oil additive prepared by Macro-preparation technology.The nanoparticles are spherical in shape and with good dispersibility and high yield.The particle size distribute in 10 to 90 nm and the average particle size is about 45.11 nm.The particle BET surface area is 14.27 m2/g and the average particle size is 47.24 nm calculated by it.?2?The effect of additive amount on tribological properties of nano copper lubricating oil additives.In the PAO6 base oil,the tribological properties of nano copper lubricating oil additive were the best when the additive amount was 0.1wt.%.?3?The effect of load on tribological properties of nano copper lubricating oil additives.The antiwear and antifriction effect of the nano copper lubricant additive increases with the increase of the load.The friction mechanism of the nano copper lubricant additive is physical adsorption layer and"tiny bearings"mixing mechanism.?4?Comparison of properties of nano copper lubricant additives.Cu nanoparticle lubricant additives have the better lubricating effect than traditional antiwear agents?zinc dialkyl dithiophosphate and MoS2?,new type antiwear agents?graphene,graphene oxide and fluorinated graphene?and Fe,Co,Al nanoparticles.?5?The complex effect of nano copper lubricant additive.Nano copper lubricant additives and oleic acid have a better compounding effect,but the effect of compounding with 2,5-Dimercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole?DMTD?or silane coupling agent(?-Triethoxysilylpropylamine?KH-550?and??-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane?APS??is poor.?6?The application of nano copper lubricating oil additive in tank engine lubricating oil.Nano copper lubricant additives can improve the tribological performance of tank engine lubricants.
