In the oil displacement process by emulsifier,no final conclusion has yet been reached on whether there's emulsification between oil and water and the mechanism.Careful and exact research on this problem matters in the development of enhanced oil recovery technology.In this paper,we use simulation experiments to study the oil-water emulsifying power and displacement characteristics in rock core.A proper and exact method to evaluate emulsifier's emulsifying power is an important precondition to study oil-water emulsification in rock core.The method should match two terms: controlling the emulsify conditions exactly,big temperature range and measuring the initial emulsification volume properly.After using the method of hand operating,mechanical waving,magnetic stirring,porous media sulfurizing and fluttering,we came to a conclusion that the fluttering method is the most suitable evaluating method.Using this method,we invented an evaluating device,high temperature fluttering emulsification evaluating device.Using fluttering emulsification evaluating method,we should control the experimental conditions first.After testing several times,the adequate experimental conditions should be vibration frequency 20 kHz,crude oil 1.2ml and emulsifier solution 2.8ml.After several selective process,RA(0.2%)+SS(0.1%)combination solution has the characteristics of high emulsifying power and thermostable.What's more,it's emulsion has poor constancy.In a word,it is a kind of good emulsifier.Doing core experiments using the selected emulsifiers,we confirm the existence of emulsification during the oil displacement process.In the condition of 50?,the best emulsifier,AES(0.3%)+K30(0.15%)+lauryl sodium sulfate(0.15%),has the ability to improve the degree of reserve recovery by 13.1%,compared to the displacement characteristics by water.Additionally,in the condition of 115?,the best emulsifier,RA(0.2%)+SS(0.1%),has the ability to improve the degree of reserve recovery by10.2%,compared to the displacement characteristics by water.
