In recent years,rare earth doped namometer luminescent materials have been used in solid lasers,transparent ceramics,and temperature sensors.Lu2O3 is an excellent host matrix due to its stable physical and chemical properties,lower phonon energy,facilitating the substitution of rare earth.So it can be used as a matrix material in transparent ceramic preparation processes.In this study,Er,Yb:?LaLu?2O3nanopowders were prepared bycitric acid combustion method.The preparation conditions of powders were determined by XRD and SEM.Er,Yb:?LaLu?2O3transparent ceramics were prepared by cold isostatic-vacuum sintering method,according to the SEM image and the ceramic sample's transmittance curve to obtain the preparation process conditions of the ceramic.The major research contents and its results are listed below:1.The Er,Yb:?LaLu?2O3 ceramic powders were synthesized by citric acid-gel combustion method.The structure and morphology of the nanopowders were tested.The precursors were calcined at 1000?for 2h in order to convert the precursors into Er,Yb:?LaLu?2O3 nanoparticles with an average particle size of 50nm.2.Preparation of Er,Yb:?LaLu?2O3 transparent ceramics by cold isostatic-vacuum sintering method.According to the SEM images and transmittance curves of the samples,the preparation conditions of Er,Yb:?LaLu?2O3 ceramics were obtained:Ethyl orthosilicate was added as a sintering aid,the sintering temperature was 1800°C,the sintering constant time was 20h,and the annealing heat treatment was performed at 1400°C for 20h.3.The effects of La3+,Er3+andYb3+doping amounts on the luminescence intensity of the ceramics were investigated.The results show that the La3+,Er3+,and Yb3+doping molar fractions are 10%,7%,and 5%,respectively,and the upconversion luminescence intensity is the highest,and the up-conversion mechanism is analyzed.4.Through the transmittance and absorption spectrum tests of Er,Yb:?LaLu?2O3ceramics,the average transmittance of Er,Yb:?LaLu?2O3 ceramics in the visible light band is 72.5%,among them,the highest transmittance rate reached 79%,and the average transmission rate in the near-infrared band was 76.4%,of which the highest transmission rate reached 85.3%.
