In recent years,with the continuous warming of the cosmetics market,consumers pay more and more attention to the functional requirements of cosmetics.Baby washing products in the process of market segmentation has emerged as a new market that can not be underestimated.Surfactants used in baby washing products should have excellent mild properties,low irritation,and rich foam.In this thesis,ethanolamine is used as neutralizer to develop a series of fatty alcohol polyether sulphuric acid ethanol salt products,which can be used as the basic raw materials of surfactants,and has the advantages of good flow,mild performance,low irritation,and rich foam.The main research contents include:1.The free alcohol of fatty alcohol polyether was determined by derivative-high temperature gas chromatography.The content of free alcohol was calculated by relative correction factors,and the content of free alcohol in different fatty alcohol polyether with different ethylene oxide addition numbers(EO)was studied.The content of free alcohol in fatty alcohol polyether from different manufacturers was compared.This research helps to control product quality from the source and guide product production.2.A series of fatty alcohol polyether ethanolamine salts are produced by using multi-tube falling film sulfonation process,such as fatty alcohol polyether triethanolamine sulfate salts with different EO addition numbers and fatty alcohol polyether(3)sulfates neutralized with monoethanolamine,diethanolamine,triethanolamine.The optimum conditions of sulfonation were obtained by detecting the neutralization value of thiate and adjusting the process parameters.3.The physical and chemical properties of fatty alcohol polyether ethanolamine sulfate salts with different EO addition numbers were studied in detail,including the foam of the product,the low temperature stability of the product,the thickening ability of the product and salt,and the content of dioxane in the product.The results show that the lower the number of EOs,the better the foam,product and salt thickening ability of the product,andthe lower the dioxane content of the product.The higher the EO number,the better the low temperature stability of the product.Customers can choose the right product according to their needs.The product has good physical and chemical properties and can meet the requirements of the market and customers.
