Based on the MSU / AMSU-A bright temperature data from 1982 to 2016,this paper analyzes the climate trend and its evolution of air temperature on the upper troposphere over the Tibetan Plateau,the ERA-Interim and NCEP-R2 reanalysis datasets are also included for the comparison.Results show that the air temperature on the upper troposphere is gradually warming over the Tibetan Plateau,which is in good agreement with the changes of atmospheric temperature at the corresponding levels of the two reanalysis datasets.Nonlinear trend analysis based on ensemble empirical mode decomposition(EEMD)reveals that the warming of the upper tropospheric bright temperature over the Tibetan Plateau starts from the central of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,as the time evolved,the warming trend gradually spread to the periphery of the Tibetan Plateau,and eventually lead to the temperature become warmer for the whole study area.For the ERA-Interim data,the evolution of the climate trend for atmospheric temperature at 300 hPa has good similarity with that of the satellite observations.However,there are significantly differences between the trend of observations and that of the NCEP-R2 data,temperature at 300 hPa of the NCEP-R2 has obvious cooling trend in the first 20 years of the research period,the warming phenomenon only exists in the last 10 years.In order to further explore the formation of the regional warming center in the bright temperature data,the paper uses AMSU-A multi-channel data to analyze the vertical evolution characteristics of the warming trend.which uses the AMSU-A data of the single satellite(NOAA-15)with the longest life history,so as to avoid the influence of inter-satellite deviation.On the basis of the orbital drift correction,the article discusses the evolution characteristics of AMSU-A climate trends with different channel bright temperature,the results show that there are two significant heating centers on the plateau surface.And increasing the temperature from the ground gradually affects the atmospheric temperature in the vertical direction.The NCEP-R2 reanalysis data is mainly based on ground warming in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,which is highly consistent with satellite data;with significant differences,the warming center of the ERA-Interim reanalysis data concentrates at about 300 hPa in the plateau regional.Therefore,at the same height,the ERA-Interim reanalysis data is more applicable and reference,while from the vertical point of view,the NCEP-R2 reanalysis data is more general and accurate.
