Meteorites are interplanetary materials that travelled through the atmosphere and fallen on the earth surface. As the samples travelled directly from the space, meteorites are direct evidence for studying the formation and evolution of extraterrestrial matter and the solar nebula,as well as the important evidence for implying the internal structure and history of the earth.A large amount of interstellar materials travelled through the atmosphere and landed on the earth surface every day,but after the ablation through the atmosphere and the weathering after landing, the remnant of meteorite samples are very rare.As we can see,the distribution of meteorite samples all over the world is extremely uneven;most of them are located in the Antarctic and desert areas. The deserts in China are widely distributed, and the collection of desert meteorite is also gradually being carried out in our country. This study aims to clarify the enrichment mechanism of meteorite in the desert area.Until this moment, there are 32 desert meteorite dense collection areas in China, and more than 250 desert meteorites have been found.Combining the meteorite enrichment areas in the world and in China,it can be seen that the dry climate conditions, stable surface environment, wind transport,Harsh natural conditions and a light-colored ground surface are important aspects for meteorites enrichment. This study also carried out a taxonomic study of some meteorite samples found in the desert areas of China.A total of 29 ordinary chondrite samples and 3 iron meteorite samples were analyzed using field emission scanning electron microscopy, electron probes, and plasma mass spectrometers.Means to analyze the petrological geochemical characteristics of the sample. On the ordinary chondrite meteorite samples in this study, there were 2 H4 ordinary chondrites;2 H5 ordinary chondrites;18 L5 ordinary chondrites;6 L6 ordinary chondrites, and 1 Block primitive type L3 ordinary chondrite. From the perspective of weathering degree, among the ordinary chondrites samples in the research,5 samples have a weathering grade of W1;5 samples have a weathering grade of W2;10 W3 weathering grade samples and 6 W4 weathering grade samples also included.Among the iron meteorite samples, there is a nickelrich, ataxite IVB iron meteorite;a medium-grain octahedrite IIIAB iron meteorite;and a coarse-grained octahedrite IIE iron meteorite.
