Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy(LIBS)technology has been widely used in solid, gas and liquid samples with the advantage of long-distance measurement, rapid analysis and no sample preparation.Experiments of nanoparticle-enhanced laserinduced breakdown spectroscopy were carried out by using Nd:YAG nanosecond lasers, echelle grating spectrometers, and other experimental devices.Under NELIBS experiments, effects of nanoparticles on plasma temperature, electron density, and Stark shift and broadening were studied.NELIBS and traditional LIBS experiments were carried out to study their spectrums,it is found that temperature and density of Au nanoparticle-enhanced LIBS and Ag cluster-enhanced LIBS are basically consistent with the trend of traditional LIBS.But there is an increase of electron density at the beginning when changing deposition of Ag.And Stark shifts of line Si II-634.7 nm and Si I-390.6 nm are obtained by the semi-empirical formula. It is obvious that shifts with different deposition based on semi-empirical formula are identical, where experimental shifts changes with different Ag deposition. Thus, deposition of Ag clusters will influence Stark shift.
