With the rapid development of the national economy,China's automobile industry is also rapidly rising.Durability and reliability are important indicators of automobile quality evaluation.In order to improve the competitiveness of automobile products in the market,more and more automobile enterprises begin to pay attention to the study of automobile durability and reliability.In this paper,a commercial vehicle drive shaft is always taken as the research object.Based on the measured torque load spectrum of the drive shaft,finite element and fatigue analysis theory are combined to study the fatigue life of the drive shaft assembly.Based on the simulation results,the drive shaft is further optimized to solve the abnormal wear phenomenon.In this paper,the geometric model of the transmission shaft was first built in Catia software,and then the finite element model was built in Hypermesh software according to the geometric model for static analysis and calculation.When building the finite element model,in order to make the established finite element model more close to the real situation of the transmission shaft and minimize the calculation time,it puts forward high requirements for the quality of the grid,and increases the density of the grid where the holes are out and concentrated stress is easy to be generated.Under ten working conditions collected from the fixed-distance test field,the load of the strengthened pavement was processed in n-code software due to the problems of burr,drift and translation in the load spectrum.The S-N curve of the transmission shaft assembly is modified because its fatigue life is closely related to the S-N curve.According to the static analysis results of Miner's rule combined drive shaft,the fatigue life of a commercial automobile universal drive was studied in n-code software.According to the simulation results of the fatigue life of the transmission shaft,the reasons for the problems of the transmission shaft are determined,and reasonable optimization Suggestions are put forward to provide the basis for the optimization of the transmission shaft.Finally,according to the optimization Suggestions,the drive shaft of this commercial vehicle can meet the design requirements.In this paper,the life of the drive shaft is studied by computer simulation and experiment,which greatly shortens the research and development period of the drive shaft.
