Groundwater protection zones are defined to prevent groundwater sources from be ing polluted,it is an effective measure to control groundwater pollution and ensure t he safety of groundwater quality.It is of great significance for protecting groundwate r from pollution,improving groundwater quality and realizing sustainable utilization o f local water resources.In recent years,the demand for water resources in Weifang City has been increasing.In order to further alleviate the water shortage,the local g overnment decided to use Huangqibao Groundwater Emergency Water Source to supp ly water to Weifang City.In order to ensure the safety of water supply in water sou rce areas,it is necessary to divide water source areas into protected areas.Based on the investigation and analysis of regional hydrogeological conditions,an d according to the technical requirements of"Technical Specification for the Division of Drinking Water Source Reserves"(HJ338-2018),the division of water source rese rve is studied by empirical formula method and numerical simulation method.The m ain achievements are as follows:(1)Based on the detailed analysis of the hydrogeological conditions and groundw-ater development and utilization in the study area,the geophysical exploration of the study area was carried out by means of high-density resistivity imaging technology,the basic characteristics of aquifers were identified,and the numerical model of grou-ndwater flow necessary for the division of protected areas in the study area was esta blished.(2)The range of protected areas at all levels is determined by particle tracking.The longest flow line of tracer particles in 100 days is 93.2m,and the area of prim ary protected area is 0.4km~2;the longest flow line of tracer particles in 1000 days is814.7m,and the area of secondary protected area is 24.12km~2;the longest flow line of tracer particles in 25 years is 4884.6m,and the area of quasi-protected area is 66.59km~2.(3)The radius of the first protected area is 58.53m,the total area of the first pr otected area is 0.24km~2,the radius of the second protected area is 585.3m,and the t otal area of the protected area is 20.07km~2.The radius of the quasi-protected area is5341m,and the total area of the protected area is 93.4km~2.(4)Comparing the results of formula calculation method and numerical simulation method,and combining with the actual situation of the study area,the scope of the protected areas at all levels is determined as follows:the area of the first protected area is 0.4km~2,the area of the second protected area is 24.12km~2,and the area of t he quasi-protected area is 66.59km~2.
