Soil fauna,which is the significant consumer and special decomposer,is one of the basal sections in terrestrial ecosystem.Meanwhile it plays an important role in energy flow and material recycle of ecosystem.Different vegetation forms not only affect the material and energy input of the soil ecosystem but also change the physical and energy environment,which will finally infect structures of the soil fauna.This study search the relations between the features that of the soil fauna and environment factors and the litter layers in 6 forest types,which will provide theoretical foundation and essential data in biodiversity protection and the ecosystem service value of Xiaowutai mountain.The main content is as follows:1.A total of 51282 soil fauna were captured in the litter layer,belonging to 3 Phyla,10 classes and 44 groups.The dominant groups are Acarina and Collembola,accounting for 43.51% and 48.74% of the total catch.Two accounted for 92.25% of the total catch.Acarina and Collembola occupy the absolute advantage.The common groups are Coleoptera larvae and Diptera larvae.The ratio of the target to acaroid mites(A/C)was 0.89,close to 1,which accords with the general rule of the temperate region.2.Soil faunal density showed significant differences among different forest types,and ranked as Betula platyphylla forest > larch forest > mixed forest > Pinus tabuliformis forest > Ostryopsis davidiana forest > Populus davidiana forest.The birch forest litter layer of soil fauna density was significantly higher than that of the other five types of forest litter,soil layer of Poplar forest animal the density was significantly lower than that of larch,birch forest and mixed forest.The species and number of soil fauna species in different vegetation types differ greatly.The number of taxa in mixed forests is the largest,and the number of clusters in larch forests is the least.The dominant groups are Acarina and Collembola,and the number of common groups and rare groups in mixed forests is the largest.The differences in the composition of soil fauna in the six planting litter layers indicate that the vegetation distribution is different,which will have a certain impact on the composition of the soil fauna community.Density-group index was ranked as: mixed forest > Betula platyphylla forest > Ostryopsis davidiana forest > Populus davidiana forest > Pinus tabuliformis forest > larch forest The diversity of mixed forests is the highest,with the largest number of taxa and the most abundant species,indicating that the mixed forest has better microclimate and is more suitable for the survival of soil fauna.3.There was no significant change in the group number of soil fauna in July,August and September in the litter layer soil of Xiaowutai Mountain,but the density changed significantly.The density in September was significantly higher than that in the other two months(P<0.01).The change in density mainly depends on the change in the end of the bullet.The general trend of changes in soil fauna diversity in the litter layer is July> September> August.The month's dynamics of the community showed different changes according to different vegetation types.For example,the diversity of the P.tabuliformis forest,B.platyphylla forest,and P.davidiana forest changed in the same month in July > September> August,and the L.gmelinii forest and the O.davidiana forest were changed.The monthly variation of forest diversity is August > July > September,and the diversity of mixed forest months is September > July > August.4.Through the determination of physical and chemical factors on six types of forest litter and soil can be obtained,the environmental factors in different types of forest litter layer,there are significant differences,pH and total nitrogen content in surface soil does not exist significant differences,there are significant differences in organic carbon and phosphorus content.For the redundancy analysis on environmental factors and litter layer of soil fauna(RDA)found that Collembola tend to high water content,biomass and litter layer of thick regions;Enchytraeidae tend to high water content area;pseudoscorpiones tends to lower water content area;Thysanoptera and Acarina tend to water content,total nitrogen,total phosphorus in litter soil total nitrogen lower area.It could be inferred through redundancy analysis that the pH,water content,biomass and thickness of litter were the main environmental factors influencing soil fauna community structure in Xiaowutai mountain.
