At present,our country is developing a new agricultural business entities,farms in the United States as a synonym for agricultural production,professional and efficient,to provide reference for study on the change of the relationship between the operation scale and performance process of the development of the time change and the two development of new business entities agriculture in our country.In China,agricultural scale management and family farm management mode is an inevitable road,due to regional differences in agricultural production in China is very significant,advocate in the northern area of China is the farm scale operation,moderate scale changes of American farm in northern China's large-scale,has an important the guidance and reference mode of agricultural production and operation of professional promotion and improvement.This paper focuses on the evolution of the relationship between the American farm business scale and business performance of the two and explore the dynamic perspective on the American farm moderate scale changes of the main line,mainly to the United States farm scale changes,compared to describe descriptive statistics and time series on the performance change,determine the best American farm in different periods moderate scale by survival of the fittest,1969-1978 years,the optimal size range for the American farm area large-scale farms more than 2000 acres,1978-1992,180-499 acre farm for the farm's optimal size range,1992-2002 years,the American farm scale interval is 500-999 acres,2002-2012 2000 acres the size of the United States farms is the optimum size.According to the relative suggestions on China's agricultural development experience of the U.S.farm development.
