Analysis On The Income Difference Of Migrant Workers In Different Flow Ranges

Since the implementation ofthe reform and opening up policy,China's market economy had developed rapidly.With the levelof industrialization and urbanization improvingandthe the market economy developing,a large number of rural surplus labor forcechooseto do business or work as staff in cities.They become an important supplier in the labor market and a huge demand side in product marker.They make a great contribution to strengthening the economic vitality and stimulating economic developmentof the region.Income is the main reason for migrant workers to leave the countryside to work in cities,and the differences in the scope of transferinghas increased a lot of heterogeneity for migrant workers' income.In this paper,we consider the transferscope as a starting point of migrant workers' income differences,not only can be informed of the current economic conditions of migrant workers,butit also makes sense for improvingmigrant workers' living conditions.This paper is based on the data of “2013 population dynamic monitoring survey questionnaire”.This paper analyzes the population and social characteristics,employment characteristics and economic income of migrant workers by means of literature analysis,comparative analysis,descriptive statistical analysis,and ordered multivariate logistic regression analysis,in order to study influencing factors of migrant workers' income in Different transfer scopes.It also mainly explores the impact and mechanism of those factors on migrant workers' income.The results show that the migrant workers' mobility scope,gender,educational level,employment status,the nature of employment units and their respective industries have significant influence on the income of migrant workers.Under other conditions of homogeneity,the longer the flow of migrant workers,the greater the possibility of obtaining high income.Finally,this paper provides some policy suggestions for improving the non-agricultural income of migrant workers and promoting the coordinated development of regional economy.
