The number of domestic tourists and the number of domestic tour destinations have increased rapidly as tourism industry has encountered its explosive growth in recent years, which leads to travel business to be one of the most important incentives of economic. The research of spatial-temporal behaviors of tourists is helpful for tourism market managers in many ways, such as customizing sophisticated promotions, conducting effective traffic control. On the other hand, number of tour destinations has increased a lot recently, which strengthen competition between different tour destinations. In order to be more competitive and attract tourists from all over country or even all over the world, concerned organizations of destination firstly needs to identify weak points there exists, thus the requirement for effective evaluation model of tour destination has increased.In tradition, researchers conduct tourism researches using tourists and destination data collected by manually approaches, such as questionnaire et al. Nowadays, with the development of Web 2.0 technology, more and more tourists choose to share their travel experiences with friends and strangers in Internet, which generates lots of UGC data (User Generated Contents) and provides researchers with a new reliable data source. This study analyzes domestic tourists spatial-temporal behaviors based on UGC data. Meanwhile, many shortcomings exist in current destinations evaluation models, this study proposes a new destination evaluation model that evaluate attractiveness of destinations. Main work and innovations that this study comes up with are as follows:(1) Develop a focused web crawler named MFWFetcher to collect UGC data of domestic tourists. This paper compares different approaches of collecting UGC data and the structure and content of UGC data collected by different approaches at the beginning. We eventually choose to gain domestic tourists UGC data by developing a focused web crawler which is named MFWFetcher for the purposes of guaranteeing the quantity and quality of UGC data and simplifying the data preprocessing procedure.(2) Analyze the spatial-temporal behaviors of domestic tourists. This paper analyzes spatial behaviors domestic tourists when going under domestic trips based on UGC data we collect. The result concludes the spatial distribution of popular tour destinations in China. Meanwhile, this study analyzes the seasonality of domestic trips and overseas trips of domestic tourists, and the correlation between travel man-time and travel average distance is also discussed.(3) Propose evaluation model of tour destination attractinveness. In order to evaluate the attractiveness of destination, this model firstly applies clustering method to divide tourists of the destination into different clusters. Then N-Dunn Index which is proposed based on Dunn index is adopted to evaluate the clustering results, which could evaluate the attractiveness of destinations. At last, this paper applies the model to evaluate 6 different identified popular destinations. The result shows that N-Dunn Index value differs significantly among different destinations, besides, evaluation results of the model corresponds with destination ratings published by authority organization, which testifies the effectiveness and correctness of proposed model.
