Study On The Loss Of Reporters' Speech

TV-reporter's speech in program is generated on site,so inevitable there will be some situations appears including having trouble giving shape to explain ideas,speaking with a stammer or interruption,talking incoherently,expressing only a half of the word,repeating winch words and so on.All of these phenomena mean loss of language fluency.If TV-reporters always take mistakes in speech and loss language fluency,not only the program quality and its broadcasting effect may suffer poor status,but credibility and authority of the media could still be affected as well.This essay started with universal definition of loss of language fluency of TV-reporter,explained main features in abruptness,transient character and persistence of loss of language fluency and divided it into three types including language shortage,language redundancy and slip of tongue.Then this essay analyzed objective reasons of loss of language fluency issue from several factors such as impromptu spoken language character,influence of negative transfer and emergency events etc.Meanwhile,it analyzed subjective reasons of this issue from the following aspects such as slow speech perception,impediment of impromptu spoken language generation;preparation works shortage,poor knowledge base as well as deficiency of field experience.At last,based on those reasons,this paper provided related strategies to resolve this problem including enhancing speech perception,improving language building,strengthening uncertain contextual adaptability,accumulating practical experience and adding knowledge base so as to avoid reporters suffering from losing of language efficiency on site.This essay integrated theory with practical,through literature research method,case study,descriptive research,information research method etc,using related theories and studies such as Linguistics,Mass Communication and Journalism to make an analysis upon actual case of TV-reporter losing language fluency problems.It researched strategies to deal with this issue in a systematic way which not only plays an important role in raising TV-reporter's professional skills,but makes a contribution to theoretical investigation improvement of television medium language.This essay is divided into six parts to explain:The first part: introduction.This part mainly explained the research significance,research object and content,literature review,research methods and material sources.The second part: universal identification of TV-reporter and loss of language fluency.This chapter made a universal identification of TV-reporter and loss of language fluency,explaining the basic language requirement of TV-reporter and three characters of losing of language fluency.The third part: analysis of types of TV-reporter‘s language fluency deficiency.This part classified the types of TV-reporter‘s language fluency deficiency and explained through actual cases in detail.The forth part: analysis of causes of TV-reporter‘s language fluency deficiency.This chapter analyzed main reasons of such issues from subjective and objective aspects and then made a detailed statement.The fifth part: analysis of strategies of TV-reporter‘s language fluency deficiency.This part mainly offered detailed strategies to deal with such problems.The sixth part: conclusion.This part made a conclusion of the whole essay and provided innovative ideas and shortcomings within this paper.
