In recent years,the economic,political,social and cultural aspects of China's development in the smooth and orderly,but along with the development and at the same time there will be unexpected public events,from the central to local governments at all levels of the government information publication of public emergency work as a priority among priorities.From the characteristics of public emergencies can be seen,it will cause some harm to the society,the relationship between the vital interests of the public,so when there is sudden public events,always occupy the major media headlines client.When dealing with emergencies,the government is also facing severe challenges,need to take into account all aspects,often because of a small mistake,it makes four rumors,to stimulate social instability.Proper handling of public emergencies,the government is the first responsible person,because the government is the center of event information,the integration of all the information by the government.Therefore,how to deal with unexpected public events properly is the question that the government should consider at all times.In this paper,the "8.12" explosion of Tianjin port as an example,the study summed up the government in the event of problems,then the problems and present situation of our country combined,find out the common problems and puts forward improvement suggestions.
