Compared with the wireless sensor network,the problem that WVSN life cycle is shorter because of energy constraints is more serious."In-path processing" method includes video coding and routing protocols.The purpose of routing protocol research is to achieve the balance of energy consumption in the network and the extension of the network life cycle.In order to validate the feasibility of the proposed method,proceeding with the routing protocols in network layer,a physical verification platform to provide physical support for further research on routing protocol of WVSN is designed.Aiming at the research of routing protocol theory of "in-path processing" method in WVSN,an AODV routing protocol optimization method based on distance estimation is proposed,the NS2 simulation results show that the routing overhead and delay performance of AODV are improved obviously.According to the hardware and software functions of the WVSN and the routing method proposed in this paper,the overall scheme of the verification platform is constructed.The platform is composed of a plurality of wireless visual sensor nodes,the wireless visual sensor node based on ARM 11 is designed.The node hardware system includes a microprocessor module,a wireless transceiver module,a visual information acquisition module and a power management module.The node software system includes an application layer and a Linux system layer.The experiments show that the test platform based on the node designed in this paper can realize image sensing function,visual information compression processing function,wireless communication function,access to distance parameter between nodes and the remaining power parameter of a node,which satisfies the physical requirements of the routing protocol implementation of "in-path processing" method.
