China is a country with a large number of ethnic minorities, each of which has a unique ethnic culture different from other ethnic groups. In the era of tourism development, many ethnic villages, which have well preserved their own culture, have actively or passively involved in the tide of tourism development and have utilized tourism development with their unique culture. In the process of tourism development, accordingly, these villages and their unique culture must be changed. This social change is the content of the study of sociology. The introduction part mainly introduces the origin of the topic and the overall setting of the paper. Through literature review, this paper summarizes the historical forms of social changes in the minority communities and puts forward that "scenic spot" is becoming a new form of social changes in the minority community in the new era. Therefore, the research on this problem has practical significance and theoretical value. Under the guidance of the basic principles of Marxism Sociology, using the literature research method, observation method and interview method, research on the tourism development of ethnic minority communities has been based on the Song Tao Miao Wang City as a typical case study. The second part mainly introduces the specific situation of Miao Wang City, as well as the general situation of tourism development, which is the basic background of the study.Through field research and interviews, the third part has summed up the Miao Wang City "scenic" performance since its tourism development in six aspects of infrastructure construction and ecological environment protection, economic mode of production, political power structure, traditional culture, population change and children. The fourth part abstracts the connotation and mechanism of the "scenic spot" of ethnic minority communities, which considers that the "scenic spot" has brought many changes to the minority community, including infrastructure improvement and scenic spot function, transformation of economic mode of production from the firstindustry of agriculture to the third industry of tourism service, transformation of traditional political power pattern into multi-political power pattern, transformation of the life of the minority culture into the stage of, the continuous relocation of indigenous population and the influx of foreign population, as well as the rise of the traditional vulnerable groups, etc. In the process of "scenic spot", the governments, as the first push, and tourism enterprises, as the second push, integrate various resources of the traditional minority villages to create scenic spots. Although the minority villagers have some benefits in the development of tourism, their position is relatively marginalized, little by little becoming a passers-by in their village. The fifth part puts forward some corresponding countermeasures and suggestions on the problems of the "scenic spots" in the minority communities, which suggests that only do the local governments vigorously develop the collective economy of the minority community and train the villages' political and economic elites, the minority communities, under the pressure of political capital and economic capital, can maintain their autonomy and the dominant position of the villagers and ensure that benign operation and coordinated development of the minority ethnic culture and village scenic can be obtained.
