BACKGROUND:HF-QoL scale is a tool that published in 2015.It concludes two aspects.First is symptom scale,and second is quality of life scale.QoL scale concludes 18 items.It is the first QoL scale to evaluate hand-foot skin reaction and hand-foot syndrome.PURPOSE:My search is to translate the QoL scale into Chinese version.And then I will analyze it,and ensure that it is a effective tool to evaluate hand-foot skin reaction and hand-foot syndrome.Also I will analyze the HFSR patients before and after intervening by Chinese medicine.METHODS:First,two trained persons translate the English version into two kind of Chinese 'version alone.Then the third person select one of them,and produce a Chinese version.The fourth person translate the Chinese version into English version again.Last,the maker of the scale and Chinese specialists discuss via e-mail until reaching to a conclusion.I will include 30 patients and let them complete the scale.Through analyze the scales,ensure that the QoL scale is effective to evaluate HFSR and HFS.Also I will compare patients before and after treatment,and get sensibility of the scale.RESULTS:Cronbach' ? =0.943.Compared with NCI degrade,spearman correlation index=0.567,p=001.Factor analysis produces three factors.Three factors represent physical activity,social activity and mood,daily living activity.These three factors exist logical correlation,and it reflects the scale has a good construct validity.CONCLUSON:The scale is effective to evaluate HFSR or HFS patients.And the scale is more sensitive than NCI degrade.MEANING:This study produces an effective Chinese scale to use in clinic and clinical trials.Make clinical trials more objective and accurate.
