The traits and ingredients contained in the herbs are the main symbol of medicine quality.Storage is one of considerable issues in quality control of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).If staying in improper storage, kinds of metamorphism such as worn-eaten,mildew,oil-spoiling,etc.will come up in TCM materials.Oil-spoiling also is a common but crucial deterioration resulting in lower activity even toxicity, which affecting the safety and effectiveness of TCM.At present, the methods of determining the deterioration of TCM are mainly traditional sensory identification and chemical composition determination. The former is the most commonly used. However, the traditional linguistic descriptions system has a strong empirical, subjective,it is greatly limited in promotion and application in practice. In this paper, using Armeniaceae Semen Amarun as example, applying electronic nose and taking advantage of completed research in our group, discriminative modes are designed.First of all, traditional characters identification and chromatography experiment were usd to clarify the chemical substance of Armeniaceae Semen Amarun. And than, the optimal experimental conditions of E-nose are explored. After that, the best discriminant model of electronic nose is established according to the principal component analysis and discriminant factor analysis method. At the same time, combined with the characteristics, physical and chemical analysis results,a new" oil-spoiling" warning system is established. In this study,E-nose was successfully employed for qualitative distinction of the different processing specifications and oil-spiling degrees in different Armeniaceae Semen Amarun samples. The results will give insights to further research on revealing scientific connotation for digital odor from E-nose and proviving methodology for quality control of oil-spiling TCM. |
