A Comparative Study Of Prevention Guidelines For Falls In The Elderly At Home And Abroad

The purpose of the study: " Technical guidelines for falls intervention in the elderly" (hereinafter referred to as the "guide") was enacted to prevent falls in older people, put forward the related intervention measures and methods, and provide technical support for the elderly and related personnel engaged in the prevention of falls in elderly people and departments, in order to reduce the risk of falls in elderly people.The purpose of this study is to find out the shortcomings of China 1) "guide", put forward the corresponding strategies to improve the Chinese "guide"; 2) summary of the "guide" can be used for reference, to provide reference for the revision of the relevant aspects of the "guide" Chinese.Research methods: This study uses literature, comparative analysis and interviews,taking Chinese and foreign "guide" as the research object, analysis and comparison of Chinese and foreign "guide" the corresponding content.Results: (1) and the "guide" the purpose and process of intervention are the same;(2) and the "guide" publisher of nature, publish and update time, coverage of the crowd,the frame structure, the elderly fall risk factors, screening and assessment, intervention measures and management after the fall on there are differences, summarizes the"guide" the advantages and can be used for reference; (3) the elderly and expert interviews, to understand their China to "guide" the cognition and prevention of fall point of view and opinions, knowledge of how to effectively obtain the views and opinions of China "guide" specific content of the implementation of the views and opinions; (4) summarizes the shortcomings of Chinese "guide" and the urgent need to improve.Research conclusions: (1) Publisher China "guide" is the national authority, is feasible, but China "guide" the release time of late, but not on the China "guide" update,compared with foreign research lags; (2) Chinese "guide" is not clear for coverage of the crowd, will the effect of using rationality; (3) the system structure China "guide"and comprehensive, clear, consistent with the basic conditions of Chinese; (4) Chinese"guide" in the elderly fall risk factors introduced comprehensively, but in the hospital nursing part of the lack of the United Kingdom and Australia "guide" referred to. The lack of care in the hospital in part in the formulation according to the risk factors of falls of the corresponding intervention measures; (5) Chinese "guide" for the elderly fall after the map The combination of instructions, intuitive and easy to understand,is conducive to China's "guide" the use and popularity, but China "guide" focuses on the elderly fall after the lack of feedback, old people fall down, analysis, follow-up care and assessment; (6) China "guide" in government policy the implementation of the difficulties, and did not do the government organization and leadership, individual departments, the participation of the whole society, resulting in China's existing "guide"and can not fully play its practical utility.Study suggests that: (1) China "guide" should be updated and perfecting the"guide" in a timely manner; (2) should be clear that the implementation and application of coverage in Chinese "guide"; (3) China "guide" can be considered to increase the elderly in hospital care in fall risk factors, and to develop appropriate interventions and reference classification recommended in the United States strength; (4) feedback after the fall of the elderly care, analysis, evaluation and follow-up situation; (5) strengthen government policy implementation, so that the government organization and leadership,individual departments, the participation of the whole society.
