Analysis Of Risk Factors For New Atrial Fibrillation After Simple Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting | | Posted on:2017-07-06 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Q Li | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2354330518467210 | Subject:Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | [Objective]To analyze the risk factors of atrial fibrillation after coronary artery bypass grafting.To evaluate the effect of off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting on the incidence of postoperative atrial fibrillation.[Background]New-onset atrial fibrillation after coronary artery bypass grafting can lead to an increased incidence of postoperative morbidity and a significant increase in postoperative mortality.Although a large number of studies have been search in the risk factors for postoperative atrial fibrillation,the current guidelines point out that there is still a continuing debate on how to determine the independent risk factors for postoperative atrial fibrillation and how to assess the risk of atrial fibrillation.A retrospective study of extracorporeal circulation techniques may increase the incidence of postoperative atrial fibrillation.[Methods]2011 September to 2013 October,selected the patients from Fuwai hospital undergone simple coronary artery bypass grafting surgery.According to the current clinical guideline and the results of previous studies,the factors related to postoperative atrial fibrillation be analyzed by univariate logistic regression analysis to determine the relationship between the incidence of atrial fibrillation and postoperative atrial fibrillation.In the second step,all factors with significant statistical significance(p<0.05)and factors that might be predictors(p<0.2)in the first step were generalized and these factors were subjected to a multivariate logistic regression analysis to determine whether they were Independent risk factors for POAF.Patients were divided into two groups according to whether used cardiopulmonary bypass intraoperatively.To compare the incidence of atrial fibrillation after off-pump and on-pump coronary artery bypass grafting[Results]In this study,patients older than 60 years(p<0.001)and preoperative left atrial enlargement(p=0.02)were independent risk factors for postoperative atrial fibrillation.Off-pump technique does not reduce the incidence of new-onset atrial fibrillation after coronary artery bypass grafting in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting alone(odd ratio 0.84;95%CI 0.66 to 1.09).[Conclusions]Age was an independent risk factor for POAF in patients undergoing elective coronary artery bypass grafting alone;off-pump techniques did not reduce postoperative atrial fibrillation... | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Cardiac Surgery, Atrial fibrillation, coronary artery bypass grafting, Age, Cardiopulmonary bypass | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
