Clinical Study On Attenuating And Synergistic Effect Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment For Liver Stagnation And Phlegm-type Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

Objective: According to the standard of the tumor diagnosis and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine guide, to change the type Tan Ning nasopharyngeal carcinoma prospectie preliminary control study, comprehensive treatment of traditional Chinese medicine to provide evidence to support the guidelines.Methods: 60 cases of pathological diagnosis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, the clinical stage Ⅱ or Ⅲ stage, conform to the nasopharyngeal carcinoma in traditional Chinese medicine liver depression Tan Ning syndrome patients were randomly divided into treatment group(control group) and traditional Chinese and western medicine combined with western medicine treatment group(treatment group). Compare two groups of cases of TCM syndrome before and after treatment, the short-term curative effect on the solid tumor, acute radiation toxicity reaction, EB virus VCA-Ig A positive changes, and so on and so forth. Seven weeks for 1 course of treatment.Results: 1.Improve the syndromes curative effect evaluation: clinical effective rate was 88.9% in treatment group and control group was 69.6%, comparing the two groups statistically significant difference(P < 0.01). 2. The tumors in the near future curative effect evaluation: the treatment group and control group in complete remission rate, partial remission rate are 93.3%, 6.7% and 90%, 93.3% respectively, complete response rate, partial remission rate comparison difference has no statistical significance(P> 0.05). 3. Acute radiation toxicity evaluation: treatment group of acute radiation toxicity reaction CTC score of 2.1, the control group the CTC score of 2.9, statistically significant difference(P < 0.05). 4. EB virus VCA-Ig A positive evaluation: control group, treatment group two groups of VCA-Ig A positive rate is 23.5%, 20% respectively after treatment, the positive rate were significantly decreased, there was no statistically significant difference in the two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion: In accordance with the requirements for the tumor diagnosis and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine guide, adopting the comprehensive treatment of traditional Chinese medicine combined with western medicine treatment of liver depression Tan Ning nasopharyngeal carcinoma, according to syndrome differentiation and treatment of the patient’s individual situation, can significantly improve the patients’ clinical symptoms, promoting tumor regression, alleviating acute radiation reaction and reduce the positive rate of EB virus, and part due to pure western routine therapy. Preliminary that the the tumor diagnosis and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine conforms to the guide to clinical practice can be further validation.
