This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of different dietary lipid sources on growth performance and fatty acids profiles of Loach. This study selected 180 loach with similar size, weight and length. They were average randomly assigned to 9 dietary treatments of 4 repeat and each repeat had 5 loach. Each group was feed with the same basal diet,3%fish oil(treatment A),3%soybean oil(treatment B),3%lard oil(treatment C),5%fish oil(treatment D),5%soybean oil(treatment E),5%lard oil(treatment F),7%fish oil(treatment G),7%soybean oil(treatment H),and 7%lard oil(treatment I)were added in each group.Determine the index, just like growth performance, the nutrient component of muscle and whole body, the fatty acid content of muscle. And the growth performance includes the weight gain, the weight gain rate, the specific growth rate, the feed efficiency and the protein efficiency. Results showed that different adding amount of oil has a significant effect on the growth of loach. The growth performance of 5%oil added group was obviously superior than either 3%oil added group or 7%oil added group(P<0.05).And the growth performance includes the weight gain, the weight gain rate, the specific growth rate, the feed efficiency and the protein efficiency. There is a significant influence in the crude fat content of muscle and whole body when adding different amount of oil.The crude fat content of muscle and whole body increase while the increase of the amount of oil.But different adding amount of oil has no significant effect on the moisture content, crude protein content and the ash content of the muscle and whole body.Adding different sources of fat has no significant effect on the growth of loach in the 3%oil added group. But in the 5%oil added group and 7%oil added group, adding different sources of fat has no significant effect on the growth of loach.Compare the soybean oil added group and the lard oil added group, the growth performance of fish oil added group changes significantly(P<0.05).And the growth performance includes the weight gain, the weight gain rate, the specific growth rate, the feed efficiency and the protein efficiency.Adding different sources of fat has no significant effect on the moisture content and ash content of the muscle and whole body when adding different amount of oil.But adding different sources of fat has significant effect on the crude fat content and crude protein content of the muscle and whole body. The crude fat content of the muscle and whole body in lard oil added group was higher than either fish oil added group or soybean oil added group significantly(P<0.05).The crude protein content of the muscle and whole body in fish oil added group was higher than either soybean oil added group or lard oil added group significantly(P<0.05).But adding different sources of fat has no significant effect on the crude protein content of whole body in the 7%oil added group.Compare the fatty acid composition of all groups,it was found that adding different sources of fat has significant effect on the content of saturated fatty acids, mono unsaturated fatty acids, unsaturated fatty acids,EPA,DHA,n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids and n-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids. And the content of EPA,DHA and n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids of the muscle in the fish oil added group was higher than either soybean oil added group or lard oil added group significantly(P<0.05).But the content of unsaturated fatty acids of the muscle in the lard oil added group was the highest.
