The steering gear is an important part of the aircraft.The precision,reliability and efficiency of its transmission play an important role on the change of the flying posture of the aircraft.A double-input planetary reducer used in the transmission device of an aerospace steering system was introduced in this paper.According to the special technical requirements of the astronautic work condition,the type of the gear reducer was designed by using virtual prototyping and finite element analysis.And the dynamics of the planetary gear transmission system was researched by using the dynamic analysis software ADAMS.Finally,the transimission accuracy,efficiency and axial compression test of the reducer were finished,based on its performance requirements.The parameters of each gear were determined by the technical requirements of the reducer,and the strength of the gear was checked by using the theory of disposable machine.Using Pro/E to complete the modeling and virtual assembly of the reducer,and the strength of the planet carrier and the box were checked by using finite element method.The dynamic model of the transmission system of the reducer was established by lumped parameter method and finite element method,and the natural frequency of the transmission system was also solved using the two methods.And then the modal analysis of the planet carrier and the box were completed.The multi rigid body dynamic model and the multi rigid flexible coupling dynamic model of the gear transmission system were created by using the software ADAMS.The dynamics were simulated and the simulation results were analyzed.The preproduction models of the reducer were completed.The precision test,efficiency test and axial compression test of the reducer were designed respectively,and the tests of the reducer were finished.Finally,the speed reducer test results were analyzed.
