A Comparative Study Of Fox Skin And Mink Skin In Suede Clothing Design Materials

With the development of economy and scientific technology,fur garments haven't been exclusives of nobility or symbols of middle and old aged women.In addition to remain original cold-preventing functions of fur materials,fur garments become ordinary,young and relaxed gradually under the driving force of design styles,fashionable trend and globalization of traffic transportation.As an import and export country of fur garments,China occupies the decisive status in international fur trading market.With the historical transformation from the planned economy to market economy and constant revolution,China has already become the most developmental economic area in global fur garment industry until 2016.Though China develops rapidly in process technology,Chinese fur garment design still has relatively weak competitiveness internationally.As a result,to let more clothing designers know about features and design methods of fur garments and reinforce design ability is an important link in Chinese fur industry development.The thesis consists of five chapters.The first chapter is to introduce the background and research method and briefly describe the research content and innovation part.The second chapter is to classify and compare the material characteristics of furs of fox and mink.As the important chapters of the thesis,the third and the fourth chapters sort out the development process and present status of fur clothing designment at home and abroad,and made an analysis of the works of international fur clothing brand in aspect of design style,technique and craft,color and fashion,etc.Based on that,the thesis summarizes the characteristics and manufacturing crafts of fur materials of fox and mink,compares the application of two kinds of materials to the clothing designment,and discusses the unique features and development orientation of two materials.According to the present situation of development of Chinese fur clothing,the author expounds personal opinions to the development direction of clothing brand.The last chapter is to draw the conclusion.With the paper,the author hopes that more people will have the further understanding on fur garments,hoping more garment designers to join in fur apparel design.
