The Research On Supplier Of Vehicle Parts Selection And Its Application

With the rapid development of the global vehicle industry, vehicle industry has become one of the pillar industries in China. Automobile is a complex system composed of multiple components, which rank only second to aircraft industry. According to the statistics, about 70% vehicle parts come from component suppliers, so those parts directly or indirectly affect the properties of the vehicle. So, how to choose the suitable and high quality component suppliers has become a focus to automobile vehicle manufacturers in recent years.In this thesis, according to the supplying chain and the particularity of the auto industry, the author presents a study of the issue of component supplier selection. Firstly, the author analyzes the relevant documents of domestic and foreign supplier selection in detail, summarizes and evaluates the existing research, finally concludes that the supplier selection is important and urgent. Secondly, the author analyzes the supplier's position in the whole supply chain and classifies the suppliers from different angles for the help of preliminary selection. Then, the author introduces the recent relationship of motor vehicle manufacturers and component suppliers as well as describes the organizational structure of component supplier enterprises.On the base of all above mentioned and by literature study and expert interview, the author tries to construct a process of selecting automobile component supplier, a key evaluation system and an evaluation index. Combining the need for the development of automobile industry, excluding the evaluation index which cannot adapt to the current development, the author constructs a new evaluation index, including six primary index and the nineteen secondary indexes. Again, through the study of multiple mathematical models, the author chooses the method of analytic hierarchy process which can combine character and quantity, the introduction of new index scale method replaces the traditional 1-9 scaling method,then introduces this method in detail.Finally, this thesis chooses the bearing suppliers company as a case study, from two different aspects,carries on a comprehensive evaluation of four bearing suppliers for choosing the best bearing suppliers.
