Research On Procurement Management Of Nuclear Power Plant

The development of World nuclear power plant was started at 50 s of last century, it has been developed more than 50 years up to now. In the west developed countries,such as USA and France, the nuclear power plant became to a larger scale during 70s-80 s of last century,but due to the nuclear leakage affection of Chernobyl in former Russia and three mile island in USA, the development of nuclear power plant was stagnant in the following 20 years. Now, with the high speed development of nuclear technology, nuclear power plant became to more safety, nuclear power became a very important part in the electricity industrial, as same as the coal and hydraulic energy.In China, The development of nuclear power plant was 30 years later compare to the west developed countries, it was very hard at beginning. There is no construction model and project management for reference, especially the equipment procurement management model, which is a key part of nuclear construction. With the successful construction of Qinshan phase I project, Daya bay project, Qinshan phase II and extension project, Tianwan project, we have already accumulate some valuable experience in nuclear construction and project management.Qinshan phase II extension project is a symbol of self-construction in China nuclear history, we have got a lot of valuable experience during the project practice, it will benefit for development of the future nuclear project.The thesis firstly introduced the characteristic and principle of nuclear equipment procurement management,discussed the importance of quality control, schedule control,investment control and risk control management in the whole nuclear project management. Then make a brief introduce of the organization and management model of Qinshan phase II extension project, and also introduce the good practice in quality control, schedule control, investment control.Finally, in order to make a high speed and high efficiency development of future nuclear project in China, the thesis issue some optimize suggestion by made an analysis between equipment procurement management of Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant phase II extension project and the equipment procurement management under EPC construction model of nuclear project.
