The Study On The Development Of Modern High-Efficiency Agriculture In Weihai International Port Economic & Technological Development Zone

As the fundamental industry of national economy, the agricultural industry is of great significance to sound and stable development of China's economy and society. Therefore, it is urgent to focus on the "three rural issues", namely, agriculture, rural areas and farmers. Not only it has great influence on the benefits of the farmers, but it is the foundation of the state's stability and prosperity.Under the new circumstances, the traditional agricultural production has failed in resolving the conflicts between the rural development and the overall tendency of economic and social development. Therefore, developing modern high-efficiency agriculture is an effective alternative to manage the conflicts and achieve the prosperity in rural areas.The thesis is to make an investigation and research on the factors of WIPETD that have restricted the modern and high-efficiency development. In addition, some suggestions will be put forward, which are intended to promote the development of agriculture.This paper is combines with the definition and features of modern and high-efficiency agriculture; the significance of developing modern and high-efficiency agriculture; the status quo, the problems and the suggestions for WIPETD in developing modern and high-efficiency agriculture. The research contents are as follows.Firstly, a systematic investigation and research on the the status quo, the problems WIPETD in developing modern and high-efficiency agriculture will be made in order to lay a better foundation for a intensive and further study.Secondly, this paper is to show how the WIPETD will implement the agriculture production and promote rural development in the process of transforming from a industrial zone to a comprehensive urban. Meanwhile, some hot topics like the policies of "rural three reforms ", "land circulation system", and new concepts of agricultural management like "farmer specialized cooperative", "family farm" will also be presented.Finally, the paper will present the problems that have restricted the development of WIPETD,which will be helpful for the policies to be made by the governments.
