Compared with airborne monostatic radars,airborne bistatic radars have many advantages in survivability,anti-interference performance and target detection capability,and have increasingly become the focus of research around the world.However,airborne bistatic radars encounter more complex clutter than monostatic radars in radar signal processing.To study how to deal with and suppress clutter,it is necessary to have an in-depth understanding of the nature of clutter itself.It is of great significance to study the modeling and simulation of airborne bistatic radar clutter.In this paper,the space-time distribution and statistical distribution of airborne bistatic radar clutter are modeled,and clutter simulation methods for airborne bistatic radar are studied.Firstly,The space-time distribution modeling method of airborne bistatic radar clutter is studied.The space-time distribution of clutter is characterized by iso-Doppler and iso-range curves,angle-Doppler traces and clutter power spectra.The characteristics solved the problem that the geometric relationship between the clutter scattering point and the bistatic platform under the double-rooted condition is difficult to determine,and the space-time distribution characteristics of the clutter under different bistatic configuration conditions are realized.Secondly,Based on the flight measurement data,the statistical distribution model of the airborne bistatic radar clutter was studied.The parameter estimation method and error test method of the statistical clutter statistical distribution model were analyzed and compared,and the model suitable for the typical airborne bistatic model was derived.A fitting error judgment method based on Anderson-Darling test was proposed,which solved the problem of difficult fitting of long tails in clutter statistical distribution of airborne bistatic radars,and achieved an effective estimation of clutter statistic distribution model parameters of airborne bistatic radar clutter..Thirdly,the airborne bistatic radar clutter simulation method based on ZMNL and SIRP method is studied.A bistatic calculation method for shape and scale parameters of K-distribution is proposed to solve the problem of effective simulation of ground clutter in airborne bistatic radar.And effective emulation of airborne bistatic radar clutter data in different ground environments is realized.The above work,through simulation verification,can accurately establish the space-time distribution and statistical distribution model of airborne bistatic radar clutter.
