Design And Implementation Of Automated Material Allocation And Scheduling Management System

This thesis presents the management software's design and implementation for smallenterprise's manufacturing material allocation and scheduling demands,with the goal of providing the more efficient and more accurate support toolkits for the machinery products manufacturing operations,adaptive to new trends in raising productivity and controlling production costs.Confronted with NANKUN company's demands on improving its material allocation and scheduling operation performances in manufacturing procedure,this thesis applies the methods and techniques of software engineering to discuss the development work on the software system.The thesis systematically discusses the development works in requirements analysis,software design,programming and tests in accordance with the company's critical demands on its manufacturing material management.In requirements analysis this thesis establishes main functions of the system about the company's major problems to solve in its material management,including manufacturing material requirements assessment,production line material supply management and some auxiliary functions in material inventory and statistics management.For each requirement its desired data processing demands and computational tasks are discussed with its associated use case model presented.In the work of software design,this thesis establishes the software architecture and the related detailed design scheme,including main object data structures,database models,representative algorithm processing flowcharts and some example database table structures.In the work of implementation,this system runs on the platform of Windows operating system on the application server and is programmed with C++ and Oracle as its database.Some programs are briefly described together with the system test methods and on-line testing instances.Currently this material allocation and scheduling management system has been finished with its deployment and tests.Its application provides strong support to NANKUN company's resilience in its new manufacturing pattern with significant efficiency and accuracy,particularly in reducing material related costs,improving material supply accuracy and timeliness.
