With the increasing of integration degree of phased array radar,its function is becoming more and more powerful.However,the heat dissipation problem of the high heat flux antenna array is imminent.Efficient liquid cooling technology provides an excellent thermal control scheme.With the development of micro-electro-mechanical systems,the microchannel liquid cooling technology comes into being.Research on this technology is on-going.However,there is still a certain distance from the realization of the engineering application goal.One of the main reasons is that the manufacturing process is imperfect.In addition,the experimental research is the most persuasive in the various researches of microchannel cold plate,and the first step of experimental research is to design an appropriate experimental scheme.Therefore,the research on the process method and heat dissipation experiment of the phased array antenna microchannel cold plate is an essential link to achieve the goal of engineering application.The main contents of this dissertation are as follows:(1)Study on the process method of microchannel cold plate.Aiming at finding the manufacturing process for forming microchannel cold plate,the dissertation analyzes all kinds of micro structure manufacturing process theoretically,and summarizes their advantages,disadvantages and applicable occasions.According to the practical engineering demands,metal 3D printing technology and micro cutting technology are selectively adopted,and the sample design schemes are put forward,which include the combination of micro milling and bolt connection,the metal 3D printing,the combination of micro milling and metal diffusion welding.Then several cold plates are fabricated for the chip and antenna array,and the samples obtained by each scheme are analyzed.Based on the actual processing of each sample,the various process schemes are evaluated objectively.(2)Study on the experimental scheme for the microchannel cold plate.Aiming at designing a high quality liquid cooling experimental scheme,this dissertation makes a detailed analysis about the component modules of the experimental platform,which include refrigerant drive module,simulated heat source module,experimental sample module,refrigerant temperature control module and data measurement module.Combined with the demands of microchannel cold plate cooling experiment,the merits,demerits and applicable occasions of the various ways to realize the function of each module are analyzed.According to the difference of heat dissipating objects and the difference of refrigerant conditions,two sets of liquid cooling experimental platform are designed,and the corresponding experimental methods and steps are formulated respectively.Then the errors of each link in the experiment are analyzed and the optimization measures are put forward.(3)Study on the heat dissipation characteristics of microchannel cold plate.Aiming at exploring the actual heat dissipation characteristics of microchannel cold plate,according to the different heat dissipating objects,such as single chip heat source,20 array chips heat source and 128 array chips heat source,this dissertation adopts the corresponding liquid cooling experiment platform,sets up several experimental conditions,and measures the relevant experimental data.Through data analysis,the heat dissipation characteristics of each cold plate are summarized.At the same time,the cold plates of each topology structure for the same heat dissipating object are contrasted.
