For almost twenty years,the communications industry has been at a stage of rapid development.Especially in recent years,the telecommunications industry is no longer a traditional voice telephone service.Network applications such as big data,cloud computing,mobile internet,Internet of things and other emerging broadband services have become the core technology of information and communication.Especially the rapid development of the Internet and the mobile Internet,the communication between people and people,things and things are more and more frequent,the network structure is more and more complicated and diversified,involuntary the network traffic grows explosively.This puts higher requirements on the bandwidth of the transmission network as the basic bearer of the communications,the rapid provision of services,and the flexibility of the network.Under the background of such a transmission network environment,how to planning transmission networks more efficiently,more reliably and more scientifically will be a major issue for transmission networks,as well as transmit large amounts of data quickly,flexibly and accurately,when it comes to the inter-provincial Backbone transmission network in particular.In the past,planners of backbone transmission networks relied on Excel spreadsheets and CAD drawings,as well as planning experience.This approach has great drawbacks:low planning route efficiency;difficult to guarantee accuracy of data updating due to the large amount of data;uneven experience of planners and inconvenient to strengthening unity and cooperation among others.Therefore,a planning and design system can be more efficient and more reliable for routing planning.However,the initial version of the planning and design system has big flaws in performance.In response to the above problems,the author conducted a lot of theoretical research,based on the original planning and design system:(1)Break the decentralized planning pattern,to build a centralized life cycle pattern;To establish a strong relationship between the network layer,station layers,norms,associations,Cleaning the backbone transmission network of hundreds of thousands of data;Standardized data entry;(2)Based on Transmission Planning and Design System(TPADS),a lot of research has been done on routing algorithms to optimize the routing and wavelength assignment module.A multi-factor constrained routing algorithm,mainly based on the path length,the rate of service constraints,reference platform,the number of periods,mutually exclusive rules,available resources and other factors.At the same time,according to the specific requirements of the wavelength in the route planning,different planning modes are designed.(3)Finally,the proposed multi-factor routing constraint algorithm,from the time efficiency,routing and wavelength allocation success rate,as well as the effectiveness of routing and other aspects of the bulk circuit routing calculation results were evaluated.It can be concluded from the evaluation index that the proposed multi-factor routing constraint algorithm has significant improvement on the routing and wavelength allocation performance of the planning and design system.It will greatly improve the efficiency of routing planning of backbone transmission network in engineering practice.
