As for one of the significant activities of Hangzhou City Brand,Hangzhou International Day has been held for ten years.Hangzhou International Day focuses on internationalization communication for Hangzhou.It has been brought the positive influence to the new city image of Hangzhou by showing the greatest culture and the most developable technological creative industry.Hangzhou International Day contributes a lot to the popularity and reputation of Hangzhou and inspires the future.The proposal about holding the Hangzhou International Day as the great carnival in September annually has been formally approved in April 2018.Based on the theoretical study,previous research and SWOT analysis of Hangzhou International Day,this paper would discuss the audiences?content and event planning,as well as gives suggestions to solve its problems.Furthermore,this paper intends to conclude strategies of city marketing and city brand.The communication planning of 2018 Hangzhou International Day serves the significant part by improving the popularity,influence and competitiveness of Hangzhou.
