Design And Implementation Of Hearing Aid System Based On Android Platform

In recent years,due to the impact of various noise in the modern living environment,the number of people with hearing impairment has been increasing.This has seriously affected people's healthy life and social development and progress.However,most of the hearing aid devices on the market are only for the elderly,which cannot cover the hearing loss patients with different ages and causes.In this paper,we propose a hearing aid system which can be used to adjust and set the parameters of the individual cases,thus adapting to the wide range of hearing disorders.What's more,the hearing aids system is an application based on Android platform,it can be integrated into the Android system platform without other hardware equipment needs,which not only increase the portability but also reduce the cost.Due to the characteristics of the audio system of Android platform,the development of hearing aids system needs to start from the underlying architecture.And the realization of various algorithms should also be improved according to the specific environment.The specific research work of this paper is as follows:(1)The basic working principle of the digital hearing aid,the generation mechanism of hearing and the causes of hearing loss are studied,and the commonly used digital hearing aid algorithm is summarized.(2)The audio system architecture of Android platform is analyzed,and the Android native audio library is studied and interpreted.A set of operational procedures for recording and playing adapted to hearing aids is also proposed.(3)The algorithm of loudness compensation,speech enhancement and echo suppression is studied in detail,and the speech enhancement algorithm and echo suppression algorithm are improved,and the result is good.(4)Based on the existing digital hearing aid system,a digital hearing aid program based on Android platform is proposed.And an appropriate Android mobile terminal was selected to achieve the above function algorithm,which meets the performance requirements of real-time and low-power.
