With the explosion of wireless data volume and exponentially increasing number of mobile devices, high demand is being required for new wireless communication technologies with data rate and capacity.Full duplex(FD)technology is believed to be one of the promising methods to enhance the wireless capacity efficiently by transmitting and receiving information at the same resource block. As the technology of hardware develops quickly and the computing capacity of mobile devices increases, the self-interference(SI)brought by the full duplex communication has been dramatically reduced, making full duplex widely researched and applied in the new generation technology(5G).Researches of full duplex on ultra-dense networks(UDNs)and two-way relay systems(TWR)have brought academic attractions and are very important as the new generation technology 5G is coming soon.First, this thesis considers the analysis of ultra-dense networks in indoor buildings with full duplex technology. The characteristics of indoor communication device distribution are studied and the distribution of indoor base stations(BSs)which include picocells, femtocells and WIFI access points(APs)is modeled as a Poisson point process, and the floor height and wall penetration loss are considered. The coverage probability of downlink with BS using half duplex mode is derived and the simple expression is given to reveal the network performance. Then the full duplex mode in BS is considered where the downlink and uplink are transmitted at the same time, and the extra interference is analyzed compared to half-duplex mode.So the coverage probability of full duplex BS is given then and finally the influence factors are studied to show how the factors impact the network performance. Then, considering that the big energy consumption and fast development of internet of things(IoTs)have led to the development of relay communication systems,we turn to the two-way relay systems and study the system performance with full duplex.Considering the serious energy consumption problem,a self-interference energy recycled structure with full duplex relay is proposed. In this two-way relay system, the relay helps the sources forward the information, and the sources provide energy to the relay as reward. Then the end-to-end outage probability and system outage probability are analyzed and derived, and the proximate expression is also given in some general scenarios.Simulations find that the proposed self-interference energy recycled structure performs superior than the traditional structures, and the full-duplex communication performs much better than half-duplex communication. Moreover, the outage probability expression derived in this thesis also give a much simpler way the optimize the system performance.
