Study On Traffic Monitoring Analysis System In Campus Network

With the wide spreading of information-based education and Internet technology,more students may download video programs,watch live shows and play computer games.These behaviors without relation to learning occupy much Internet broadband resources and negatively influence the effective use of broadband networks in campus network.The management of education information and the monitoring of web traffic in campus network are great challenges.Taking the campus net work information system as en research subject,the thesis designs packet capturing in campus networks,analyzing and examining arithmetic of data storage and data flow,and many database list including the information system of regular users,the information of special web flow.Moreover,based on Windows system and SOL Server database system,relying on software engineering and data digging,the research work designs systematic data flow diagram to establish a web flow monitoring and analyzing prototype system in campus network,which contains the management module of users ID and legal access,data collecting module,data learning module,categorized examining module,and examining and analyzing module.Continuous experiments demonstrate that the new system has been performing well.Since the new system was put into practice in campus network management and student affairs management,the system has exerted positive influence on these fields and departments,especially in optimizing the management of campus network.
