With the development and progress of Chinese oil industry,major oil companies in the world are focusing more attentions on the application of information technology during enterprise's daily management;they are treating the scientific management method as their new management mode.The goal of CNOOC is to build the world-leading energy company with typical Chinese characteristics.MAXIMO system which is working as the asset management software of CNOOC is implemented comprehensively from 2002.Asset management of CNOOC is coming back to the right track with the implementation of the system.The cliff-like drop on the oil price in recent two years led to the great impact on CNOOC,the capital expenditure experienced three successive years decline which has forced the company to concentrate on lowering the cost and improving efficiency.It is requested to improve on our capital management among our work.It is forced to take care of property lean management on such a significant asset based on the current situations of CNOOC and its competitors in the world.As a front line manager of CNOOC,it is discovered with the three outstanding issues on the offshore platform during daily work which were contractor management,equipment management and inventory sharing management.Every company has its own management ways but lack of systematic and effective management style,which is the root of the sudden issues.Asset management of MAXIMO system does not involve these three issues.I selected the above mentioned three issues as my research object based on the extended application function of the new module of MAXIMO system.These three issues can be sorted out via extended functions.It is going to solve all the problems and realize all the functions based on management requirement and flow demand survey and secondary development of MAIXMO system,the target is to guide the actual front line work finally.The thesis is guided by solving the actual problems based on my own work experience and communications with associate platforms.It provides the analysis to the comment situation of all facilities based on the three issues and consults the opinion of the other platforms as per the characteristic of offshore oil platform;it provides the surveys and writing of the system requirement based on the existing issues.It is implemented with the knowledge and management method learned from MBA and converted all requirements into flow chart and frame work,which could be used as the main guide of problem-solving.The final goal is to make sure the test is launched successfully by optimizing the system page of new function on the basis of the system design and fulfill the application of the three issues among MAXIMO extending system so that the management of the three issues can be standardized.It is done through the development on the extended application of MAXIMO system and the field usage and provides a new management mode combined with the extended function of MAXIMO system and problem solving.
