In the modern manufacturing enterprise,the logistics transportation cost of the workshop can be greatly reduced by using the reasonable workshop equipment layout.The resource utilization and the production efficiency of the workshop can also be improved by using the reasonable production scheduling.In the intensely competitive market conditions,increasingly attentions to the equipment layout and the production scheduling have been issued from enterprises.In this paper,through the further research of the genetic algorithm,the optimization software of the equipment layout and the optimization software of the production scheduling were designed by applying the basic principles of the genetic algorithm independently.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)According to the characteristics of plant layout optimization,the genetic algorithm optimization model was established.At the same time,the optimization software of the equipment layout was designed by using Microsoft Visual Studio 2013.(2)The optimization software of the production scheduling was designed by using the basic principles of genetic algorithm.The software can solve the parallel processing scheduling problem through the appropriate improvement of the encoding and decoding methods.(3)The equipment layout of the shaft parts workshop was solved by using the optimization software of the equipment layout.The effects of genetic parameters and different selection strategies on the final optimization results were studied.Then the tournament selection strategy was used to optimize the layout,and the best equipment layout was revealed.At the same time,the result was compared to the result by using Plant Simulation.Finally the difference between results of two ways was analyzed.(4)The production scheduling of the flex production line was solved by applying the optimization software of the production scheduling.The appropriate optimization parameters were selected according to the calculation time and optimization results.At the same time,the ability of the software to solve the scheduling of parallel machining process was verified by optimizing the production scheduling of the actuating cylinder parts of Harding Machine Tool.
