In recent years,information technology develops faster and faster,which has leaded the whole society into the age of big data.There appear kinds of internet applications,informational construction of all industry are in the ascendant,applications and data represent a trend of explosive growth.To maintain kinds of big data applications,the pattern of big scale computer cluster to answer mass service requests and deal with them becomes a necessary tendency.Traditional cluster system depends on some complicate technology structure,is extremely strict with design,management and maintain parts professionally.Besides,traditional cluster also has some technology barriers which are hard to solve,like resource management,performance guarantee,broaden system and energy consumption control,etc.These reasons seriously restrict traditional cluster apply and develop itself in the new tendency.Cloud-computing is one of the hottest research directions in present informational technology field,rapidly development of relate technology provides new thoughts for cluster design and application.As a new interactive and use pattern in informational technology field,cloud-computing has a core resource service concept of change itself with the demand,abandons dedicated resources and single pattern of traditional cluster resource operation method,which can solve technology and applications problems in traditional IT basic equipment.And as a key supportive technology in cloud-computing,virtual technology can effective transform kinds of physical resources into virtual resources,like calculative ability,storage space and network performance,and provides all kinds of flexible resource service by cloud-computing cluster pattern.Cloud-computing is based on virtual technology construction,has incomparable advantages and reduces construction costs and technology difficulty of cluster system,meets all kinds of requirements for customers in cluster performance.This paper,puts a practical engineer project which beard by the writer in one university engineering center as the beginning spot,develops technology identification,case design and system deployment and others work basing on VMware v Sphere virtual cloud-computing cluster.To make sure that practical engineer requirements can be satisfied completely,this paper also makes a deep research and analysis in some important performance guarantee functions,such as Live Migration of cluster,High Available,DRS and Fault Tolerance.The results presents that,the cloud-computing cluster made by this paper has the characteristics of simple deployment,powerful performance and easy management,can meet certain types application supportive tasks.Relate research results have a reference value for universities,scientific institutions and small and middle sized companies to construct their own cloud-computing cluster.
